BRIDAL FAQ's

DO YOU REQUIRE A MINIMUM TO BOOK?

I do require a minimum number of services to book a wedding. A minimum of 4 services is required for Friday or Sunday weddings. A minimum of 6 services is required to book a Saturday wedding. This can be a mix of hair & make-up. I will make an exception if it is a last minute booking and I have availability. I do not need to know the exact number of services until 90 days out, however if you do not hit the minimum number required, a balance will be owed.

WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?

the retainer ($150) to book and hold the date covers travel up to 30 miles outside our location. After 30 miles $2.00 per mile will be figured into the total cost of services. If travel exceeds two hours, a hotel accommodation may be required.

HOW MUCH TIME WILL SERVICES TAKE?

I I like to allow 30-45 minutes per service. nothing is worse than having everyone stressed having to rush. Sometimes a service may not take that long, it is best to have everyone getting services there and ready to go!

DO YOU HAVE OTHER STYLISTS THAT WORK WITH YOU OR DO YOU WORK ALONE?

I do have other stylists I work with to accommodate large parties. A $100 fee per assistant + travel will be added to the total amount due. Timing and number of services will determine if/how many assistants I will need.

DO I NEED A TRIAL RUN?

I always recommend a trial run!! it helps bring us on the same page and for me to get a clear vision of what you are wanting on your big day! Typically my brides will know they want to work with me after seeing reviews/photos and will secure their wedding day with me up to 1 year in advance. I recommend a trial a couple months out from the big day. If you schedule one too far out your vision on what you are wanting could change.

WHAT IF I WANT A TRIAL RUN BEFORE BOOKING?

You can request a trial run before booking, however your date will NOT be held for you without the retainer and signed contract. Most of my brides book first and do their trial closer to the date. A bride is typically confident she wants to book not because of a trial, but because of my reviews and photos.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TRIAL RUN?

Trial runs are held in my studio. There we will discuss & sample out the makeup/hair style you have chosen and make any changes if necessary. Once your trial is booked I will email you tips & tricks to get the most out of your bridal trial. With trials, it will also allow you to wear the makeup and/or hair style for the day and see how it feels & holds up in preparation for the big day.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING DAY BEAUTY SERVICES AND HOW DO I BOOK YOUR SERVICES?

I take bookings up to 1 year before the date - so anytime before then! To book & secure your date a retainer of $150 along with the signed contract is required. The retainer does not come off the date of total, it does cover your travel base rate.

WHEN IS THE FINAL PAYMENT DUE?

About a month out from your date I will send you the total balance due. I ask the balance be taken care of at least a week out from the big day.
